“Archipelago of Earthen Bones” an exhibition by Malena Szlam

To complement Malena Szlam's exhibition 'Archipelago of Earthen Bones' at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, we developed a comprehensive project involving space surveying, sound and light installations, and the strategic selection of walls and screens. These elements were meticulously crafted to create an immersive experience, showcased through a video simulation that guides visitors through the exhibition space. Additionally, we produced a 3D-printed model, both as a working tool and as a lasting memento of the exhibition.

Models that can be assembled provide a practical and emotional tool for artists to envision museum and gallery exhibitions. The pieces of the model are contained in this small case, which, due to its dimensions and weight, can be sent by traditional mail anywhere in the world or easily found in gift shops as a souvenir.
